Had a wonderful stay at the Clayton, we had a beautiful room with a double and single room overlooking the Clyde. The rooms are very generous in size with all amenities provided, lovely coffee and biscuits included. Shower was good, a good range of channels. Fabulous location. Very efficient with self check in and out options sent to phone. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and although a little overpriced we enjoyed the ambience and decor of this area. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so couldn't comment on this but we were very happy with our stay and would recommend and stay here again.
Stayed for one night mid January in an executive king room with a river view - and wow, what a view! On the 16th floor overlooking the river and the city beyond! The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and well appointed. It was a very …
What a stunning hotel. I spent a couple of nights in Glasgow for the theatre. One at the Maldron which is my usual hotel for the city. I 'd meant to check out the Clayton Dalatas new hotel by the river and I'm glad I did. The hotel is …

What a find!
My husband and I recently had an overnight stay after a night out visiting the Christmas markets. We were blown away by how helpful, polite and friendly the staff were. Our room was immaculate, fab cosy colour scheme and an amazing bed so comfortable. Great big walk in shower too. We had a fab breakfast the next morning in a busy dining area, but the staff were so on point clearing tables and keeping things running smoothly. When leaving we were delighted to hear that we could leave our luggage while we went shopping, and as we checked out a lovely lady who was keeping the reception area clean and tidy, smiled at me and told me to have a safe journey home, I loved that. The little things mean a lot. On the whole we had a great time in a beautiful hotel, with amazing facilities and staff. We will definitely come back.
Merry Christmas to all the hard working staff and the people behind the scenes that make it all work.

Lovely hotel and ideally located near Central Station.
Leaving bags prior to check in was no problem, which was great.
Only slight negative was there was no bacon for breakfast, albeit I accept we only got there at 9.40 when breakfast closed at 10am and our room was cold when we arrived but fair play the reception staff quickly resolved that issue.
Bar staff were excellent and very nice.
We will return and stay again no problem.
Overall very happy customers.
Your hotel is beautiful. This is our first stay with you and it won’t be the last. It is so central for the city, and the subway. The room was amazing, it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept it. Your staff are very friendly and the breakfast was great with plenty of choice. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much.
Stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of January 2024. Great location, super views from my hotel room over looking the river. Hotel was very clean & welcoming, and as a lone traveller, as soon as I arrived I felt very comfortable and safe. I found all staff polite, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed on the 7th floor. Room was a superior with a double and single bed, very spacious and clean. No noise from other rooms heard and had 3 perfect nights sleep. Beds were really comfortable. Maid service everyday with towels & the complimentary coffee/water/wafer chocolate bars replenished. I didn’t order any food from the hotel as I was visiting family, cocktails from the bar were lovely especially the espresso martinis! I would definitely stay here again, it’s a gem of a hotel.
